Favorite's Fridays - Click N' Curl

I think by now you might know that I love good hair gadgets (i.e. Curl Secret, T3 Rollers, etc.). I just received these amazing Click N' Curl roller brushes, and, I must say, I really love them. I have many, many regular roll brushes that I use to set my hair in the morning. I leave the brushes in until my hair cools because of my curly, frizzy hair. If your hair is allowed to fully cool, your style will set and last longer. Then, while they are cooling I have time to do my makeup, make some espresso, a green drink or make a few phone calls.

Over the years, I have had many brush handles break. Sometimes, handles can get in the way of rolling other brushes which is why the Click N' Curl brushes are so amazing.

I bought the medium brushes for my hair. These brushes are fairly easy to use. You simply use the brush normally, and, once you roll your hair onto the brush, you "click" the brush handle and the handle comes off... just like all of my broken brushes!

The are travel friendly because they are small and light in weight. I recommend these to anyone who roll brushes their hair! You can purchase them on their website.

Favorite's Fridays - Go Greek Yogurt

OPA! This week my Favorite's Fridays post is DELICIOUS! A small Greek yogurt shop opened next  door to my office in Beverly Hills, and I couldn't be happier.

Go Greek Yogurt just opened this month, and I have been at least twice a day while in town. Their yogurt is freshly made in Greece and then flown to Beverly Hills. After that, it's topped with organic fruits, nuts, and tasty goodies.

My absolute favorite treat is the 2% Greek yogurt topped with rose petals, chopped almonds and walnuts. It reminds me of my father, who was an incredible chef and made something similar to this when I was a kid.

I LOVE GO GREEK YOGURT!
The first time I went to Go Greek Yogurt, I was so excited that they served the yogurt in a traditional Terra Cotta pot (made in Greece). This is how yogurt is still served in Crete. Not only are these Terra Cotta pots biodegradable, but they are reusable, too!

So far, I have tasted the black cherry, strawberry, carrots and rose petal toppings. While they are all incredible, I just can't seem to order anything but my usual rose petals.

If you are ever in the Beverly Hills area, or are coming to my office for a complimentary consultation or procedure, stop in and order something to go. Be sure to ask for a sample if you like - everyone there is incredibly friendly. You will enjoy every single bite of your delicious, healthy, organic Greek yogurt!

Favorite's Fridays - Breast Cancers Survivors

This week my favorites fridays post is not a beauty product. Instead my favorites fridays post is about a beautiful group of strong women. This is a large group of women, and I could never give an exact estimate of how many women, for it is far to big to comprehend. This week, I dedicate my favorites fridays blog to every single women who has faced breast cancer.

I have so many clients who are breast cancer survivors. Twenty-five years ago, when I started my business, the women who came to me for areola repigmentation, areola reconstruction or for breast surgery scars were in their forties, fifties and sixties. Now, I am receiving more and more clients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer who are in their twenties and thirties, and it breaks my heart.

I just received some news from a client of mine who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. It saddens me that breast cancer is taking more and more women. We must fight this. We must fight for all the women who can't fight anymore. Get educated about breast cancer. Get checked out, and don't wait until you are in your forties to do it.

This month I want to celebrate all of the women who are survivors. To celebrate these amazing women, I will donate a portion of every new areola repigmentation, areola reconstruction or breast surgical scar procedure to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Below I have posted a few videos of my clients who are breast cancer survivors. I am posting these videos to celebrate them - not for marketing. I believe in them. I love them. They are to be celebrated this October and all year long.
