Favorites Fridays: Jouer Long-Wear Creme Mousse Eyeshadow

What if you could carry something small with you throughout the day that could take your look from day to night within seconds? What if I told you that you that you could easily wear this for a day look, a night look, a soft look or a “done up” look? This favorite is a MUST HAVE for your makeup stash. Last weekend, my daughter and I went to The Makeup Show LA and had a blast. She taught us some tips and tricks to get "the look" and used some awesome products from Jouer! She talked about how sometimes we overcomplicate our look to get a smoky eye or even for our makeup look in general. She reminded me that when it comes to our makeup, LESS IS MORE! Of course, that is the motto I use in the office when I design someone’s eyebrows, eyeliner or lips with permanent makeup. However, when I look at my makeup drawer which is filled with all kinds of products from many different makeup brands, it’s like they are all shouting, “Use me! Use me!” In reality, you can create a gorgeous look with a handful of products - you don't need to use 17 different eyeshadows at the same time!

With this incredible Long-Wear Creme Mousse Eyeshadow, you can achieve a day look by using just a little bit on your eyelid. Remember, always apply with your fingertips, not a brush.  It can give you a little pop of color on your lid to just put your look together. To step it up a notch, use a more product and really layer it onto your lid to give a richer, more dramatic look. It is long lasting, for sure and won’t smear throughout the day, either!

Between both my daughter’s makeup stash and mine, we have 3 of the 6 colors and we plan to get the rest of them because we both love and enjoy them so much. Favorites Fridays: SWANK Soap

Happy Favorite’s Friday to you! I want to address something before telling you what my new favorite is. I want you to know that I only want to write about products that I truly love and use. That is why, as of lately, I haven’t posted many Favorites blogs. I don’t just want to pick a new product that maybe I have tried once or picked something because it’s new on the market. I only write a Favorite’s Friday blog when I have something that I 100% love and recommend!

Anyway, let’s get to the good stuff. This week I bring you a fabulous bar of soap that is handmade with natural ingredients. It has a simple and refreshing scent of wild flower that isn’t too strong and there are no harmful chemicals in them. My favorite, this week, is SWANK Soap from the Swank Atlanta company! 

These soaps are handmade and hand stamped with the SWANK logo and are just so wonderful. I am not the biggest fan of soaps that leave your hands feeling squeaky clean that almost feel dry after. This soap does not do that. It leaves your skin clean without that awful feeling on your hands. My daughter and I have even been using it on our faces. Her skin is pretty sensitive and she absolutely loves her SWANK soap.

Favorites Fridays: Giorgio Armani's Eye Tint

Well, I must say, I didn’t think I would be excited about an eyeshadow, but this one is definitely blog worthy. It comes in a container similar to a lip gloss or mascara, there are about 12 different colors to choose from, and it is this week’s favorites friday product. Giorgio Armani’s brand new Eye Tint is a must-have, long-lasting eyeshadow. 

Its innovative formula transforms from liquid to solid and instantly adheres to your eyelid. It will provide you with 16 hours of smudge free, crease free gorgeous look. 

You can use this fabulous Eye Tint as an eyeshadow or even an eyeliner and you can use it for day or night. It can easily be used to make a smokey eye, or use the Rose Ashes to cover your lid for a fresh look. 

The innovative formula debuted at the Giogio Armani Womenswear Spring/Summer 2015 show and is sure to be a huge hit.

- Use the fine tip to apply Eye Tint to line eyes, or to create more precise looks.

OH HONEY!

Honey is something that is probably in everyone's kitchen and probably used by most people, right? You probably add it to your coffee, tea or oatmeal in the morning... but did you know that honey has amazing benefits for health & beauty? Did you know that it will never spoil? Favorites Fridays: Invisibobble Hair Ring

Happy Friday! "Friday" means FAVORITE in my world, so today I bring you a new favorite of mine. This is one of those beauty items where you think, "Why didn't I think of this?" and "It's just so simple!" Get ready to love the amazing Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring! This little spiral is just what everyone needs to keep with them at all times. It looks so simple but it really is amazing at holding your hair up in a bun or pony-tail, without that awful looking crease that a normal hair tie leaves behind. They don't pull your hair, leave a crease or get stuck in your hair. They come in a handful of different colors including, blue, black, white, clear ... and a few more.

The real trick to the Invisibobble comes from the shape... reminds you of a telephone cord (if you are under 20 you might not know what that is) or those spiral key chains that you wear as a bracelet.

I'M MOVING... But.. not that far!

As some of you may know, we are closing our Beverly Hills office on January 31st, 2015. We have
had some WONDERFUL years at that office, met some wonderful clients, and have really enjoyed being in this neighborhood. Our office is moving south, and we have a brand new location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach!

I have been at 450 N. Bedford for about about a decade! We are looking for a new office space in the area and will notify everyone if we find something in the 90210 area. However, for now, you are all welcome to my new office in Newport Beach. I have partnered with Leur Lab, a premiere Medical Aesthetic Spa, to bring my services to the Orange County area.
