A few weeks ago, we bought four tickets to a showing of Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Krysten (my daughter) packed up a picnic dinner with all kinds of dips, a greek salad, fruit, drinks, a blanket, and four small folding chairs.
We arrived a bit early, got settled with our blanket and picnic area, and enjoyed people watching while a DJ played some fun music. We ate and visited for a few hours until the movie started.
Before the movie starts, there is a fun photo booth where they will take your photos for free and then post them online for viewing and sharing. Krysten and Jeff went over there to take a photo - next time I will join them.

At around 9pm, the movie started. We had great seats and a great view of the screen as we watched the handsome Jimmy Stewart and the beautiful Doris Day.
I would say that seeing a movie at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery is definitely something fun to experience in LA. There a lot of people who attend and it sells out fast. It's important to get their early, bring friends, blankets, picnic foods and drinks.
You can buy tickets online at Cinespia.
